Dream Raider - A Johnny Marsh Adventure
Q. How long have you both been working together on Dream Raider?
A. For the past thirteen years we've been working together on Johnny Marsh. We started as neighbours, then becoming good friends, before starting work on the book.
Q. How do you both find working together?
A. We have a very collaborative working relationship. We bounce ideas back and forth between us and we inspire each other both through the writing, Illustrating and the concept art. There's times where we'll go into our seperate spaces and zone out in our worlds and be creative, then come back together sharing ideas and what we've done to further the story.
Q. Who runs Johnnymarsh.net?
A. We do. The site is administrated primarily by us. We wanted to interact and chat to our readers and fans, giving them the opportunity to receive feedback from us. It's really exciting!
Q. Have you guys started work on the next Johnny Marsh book?
A. Yes we have. The second book is well underway. We can't reveal anything as yet but stay tuned to JM.net and you'll be the first to know.
Q. What would you say has been your biggest motivator, what kept you both going for so many years without losing focus or your passion?
A. We love the material and we've had one another to draw inspiration from. We whole heartedly believe in the Johnny Marsh story. We love it! It's amazing now that we get to share it with you all.
Q. If you could only give one piece of advice to other young inspiring writers and artists, what would it be?
A. Follow your passion. Do what you love and there's every chance you'll be great at it. There's times where you have doubts or second thoughts, but that's normal. Everyone has them. If you believe in something with all your heart don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Persistence is the key, don't give up. Your hard work will eventually pay off.
