Four-teen years ago, at the age of thirty-three Kev discovered writing as his new calling and pursued this with passion. This turning point in Kev’s life was the beginning of his own personal adventure, the inception of the first Johnny Marsh Adventure novel, Dream Raider.
Kev immigrated to Australia in 1971 with his parents, settling in Brisbane Australia. Kev is qualified in two trades and has had to fit his writing around his work commitments. Over the years Kev has drawn his inspiration from books, films and even video games. Kev has been married for over twenty-seven years to his wife Tracey, who together have two sons.
As Kev discovered his path as a writer, this point in time also marked another pivotal moment in Kev’s writing career as he partnered up with artist Anthony Puttee. Together the two have developed the Johnny Marsh series over the years as Anthony became the concept artist developing ideas for story points and world development. It’s a rare working relationship as the writing inspires the artwork and the artwork in turn inspiring the writing with character details yet to be revealed in upcoming books, which were fleshed out through visual concepts over ten years ago.'
The second book in the Johnny Marsh Adventure series, Soul Trader: A Johnny Marsh Adventure is released in the fourth quarter 2011. Kev Webb is currently writing the third book in the four book series.
